ぼくは、みんなに言ったんだ。「ボクたちは一生懸命仕事してるじゃないか。雨がどしゃぶりに降ってきても、彼女たちがレストランで楽しくおしゃべりしてる間も、目が回るほど暑い日も、車が誰にも盗まれないよう毎日じーっと番をしてあげているんだ。そうだろ？なのに古いってだけで取り替えられちゃうなんてまっぴらごめんだよ！」

That’s when I said to everyone:
“Aren’t we all doing our best?
Even in the pouring rain,
Even when they’re inside the restaurants talking and having a good time,
We keep our eyes on their cars, and watch them carefully to prevent them from being stolen, right?
But they’re saying we can be replaced, just because we’re old…
We shouldn’t feel sorry for that!”
